About the Recipe
Make fresh Cream Foundation sticks, compacts or jars
Ingredients
1 Cream Foundation BEAUTY block
2 to 3 teaspoons of Dispensed Mineral Powder in skin tone of choice
1 to 2 teaspoon of a light think 100% natural oil eg: cold pressed olive, sweet almond, argan, avocado, coconut (MTC) or jojoba 100% pure oil (avoid rosehip as it can cause breakouts, and avoid thick or heavy oils)
6 drops of 100% pure lavender essential oil (do not use fragrances)
Preparation
Step 1
Melt Cream Foundation BEAUTY Block, in double boiler or bain marie until melted into a honey consistency, do not over heat it (do not use a microwave) THIS IS A SPECIFIC BEAUTY BLOCK dont get it mixed up with the moisture blocks or serum beauty block. the Cream Foundation Beauty Block has SPF 30 built into it for this beautiful item.
Step 2
Add 1 teaspoon of mineral powder dispensed instore, from the same range (do not mix brands, as formulations can be affected) - add 3 or more teaspoons of the mineral powders, for higher coverage. You can add, allow to cool, test, then add more, re-melt, mix and test again.
Step 3
DO NOT let any water or moisture come into contact with your creation. Not even a drop off the bottom of your bowl, if you are pouring the mixture, to set, make sure you wipe the bowl first so condensation from the melting pot doesnt run into your final product.
Step 4
Melt your beauty block add the powders, add the extra oils, add the essential oils, and mix the entire mixture together with a metal clean spoon until it is perfectly combined and the consistency of maple syrup, as it cools it will start to behave like Honey - you want to pour your product before it starts to take the cosistency of honey - as it is a quick time line from that moment to soldifying!
Step 5
Pour into clean packaging, and store at room temperature. Use within 3 months and discard any leftovers past this time.
Step 6
Wipe your stainless steel bowl, spoons and other items clean using sanitiser wipes, and then wash and dry for next time.
